Groups for Members

What Are Groups?

Groups allow riders with shared interests, locations, clubs, or riding styles to connect and communicate in their own dedicated space within the Your2Wheels community.

Groups can be used for:

• Organising rides
• Sharing photos and stories
• Discussing motorcycles and gear
• Planning events
• Connecting with local riders
• Supporting motorcycle clubs and riding communities

Types of Groups

Groups may be:

Public Groups

Anyone can view the group, its members, and its content.

Private Groups

Members must request access or be invited by a group administrator before they can view content and participate.

Joining a Group

1. Visit the Groups directory.
2. Browse available groups or use the search function.
3. Open the group you wish to join.
4. Click the Join Group button.
5. If the group is private, wait for approval from a group administrator.

Once approved, you will become a member of the group.

Participating in a Group

As a group member, you can:

• View group activity
• Create posts
• Comment on discussions
• Upload photos and media
• Participate in group events
• Connect with other members

Managing Notifications

To control notifications from a group:

1. Open the group page.
2. Locate the notification settings.
3. Choose your preferred notification level.

Leaving a Group

If you no longer wish to participate:

1. Open the group page.
2. Click the Leave Group button.
3. Confirm your choice.

You can rejoin public groups at any time.

Tips

• Be respectful of other members.
• Follow both community and group rules.
• Keep discussions relevant to the group’s purpose.
• Report inappropriate behaviour to the site administrators.
