Using the Your2Wheels Community Feed

The Community Feed is the heart of Your2Wheels. It allows riders from around New Zealand to share updates, photos, ride plans, experiences, and connect with other members.

Whether you’re showing off your latest ride, sharing a scenic photo, asking a question, or discussing motorcycle gear, the Community Feed is where conversations happen.


Creating a Post

Sharing a post is a great way to connect with the community.

To create a post:

  1. Visit the Community Feed.
  2. Click inside the post editor.
  3. Enter your message.
  4. Add photos or media if desired.
  5. Click Post Update.

Your post will appear in the feed for other members to see and interact with.

Ideas for posts:

  • Ride reports
  • Motorcycle photos
  • Questions and advice
  • Upcoming ride plans
  • Scenic destinations
  • Motorcycle news
  • Event experiences

Reacting to Posts

You can react to posts to show your appreciation, support, or opinion without writing a comment.

To react to a post:

  1. Locate the reaction button beneath the post.
  2. Select your preferred reaction.
  3. Your reaction will be recorded instantly.

Available reactions may include:

  • 👍 Like
  • 🤜 Respect
  • ❤️ Love
  • 😂 ROFL
  • 🙄 Eye Roll
  • 🤬 Angry
  • 😢 Sad
  • 🤢 Vomit

Use reactions respectfully and appropriately.


Commenting on Posts

Comments allow you to participate in conversations and engage with other riders.

To comment on a post:

  1. Click Comment beneath the post.
  2. Enter your response.
  3. Click Post Comment.

Comments help build community and encourage discussion.


Uploading Photos

Photos are one of the most popular ways to share your riding experiences.

To upload photos:

  1. Create a new post.
  2. Select the photo upload option.
  3. Choose photos from your device.
  4. Add an optional description.
  5. Publish your post.

  • Motorcycle modifications

Mentioning Other Members

Mentions allow you to notify another member within a post or comment.

To mention a member:

  1. Type the @ symbol.
  2. Begin typing the member’s username.
  3. Select the correct member from the list.

Example:

@Angela thanks for organising a great ride!

The mentioned member may receive a notification.


Following Community Discussions

The Community Feed is constantly updated with new posts and conversations.

You can:

  • Read updates from other members
  • Comment on discussions
  • React to content
  • Discover new riders
  • Find events and routes
  • Learn about destinations around New Zealand

To help maintain a positive and welcoming environment:
