Unlike a traditional forum where every member sees every post, Your2Wheels uses a personalised Activity Feed to keep your experience relevant and enjoyable.

Your Activity Feed prioritises content from:

Riders you’re connected with
Groups you’ve joined
Members you follow
Content you’re involved with
Other activity that is relevant to you

This means you will not necessarily see every post made by every member in your Activity Feed.

Your Timeline vs the Activity Feed

It’s important to understand the difference between your Timeline and the Activity Feed.

Your Timeline

Your Timeline is your personal activity history. It displays the posts and updates that you’ve shared.

Depending on the privacy setting you choose, other members may visit your profile and view those posts.

The Activity Feed

The Activity Feed is personalised for every member. It is designed to highlight the content most relevant to them rather than showing every post from every member of the community.

As a result, a post may be visible on your Timeline but may not appear in another member’s Activity Feed.

Privacy Settings Explained

Visible to all members of this community

This means any logged-in member of Your2Wheels can view your post by visiting your Timeline or wherever it is displayed throughout the community.

It does not guarantee that your post will appear in every member’s personalised Activity Feed.

If your post contains private or personal information, consider using Connections or Only Me instead.

Visible only to your Connections

Only members who are connected with you can view this post.

Because your connections have a relationship with you, these posts are also more likely to appear within their personalised Activity Feed.

This option is ideal for sharing more personal updates with your riding friends.

Group Posts

When posting within a group, your post is visible to members of that group, subject to the group’s privacy settings.

Group activity is also more likely to appear in the Activity Feed of members who belong to that group.

Only Me

Only you can view the post.

This is useful for personal notes or information that you do not wish to share with anyone else.
