- An Event is something happening at a specific date and time.
- A Destination is a place that exists all year round and can be used by multiple events.
For example:
- Destination: Puhoi Hotel
- Event: Sunday Lunch Ride to Puhoi Hotel – 15 March 2027
The destination stays the same, while many different events can take place there over time.
What is an Event?
An Event is a planned activity that members can attend.
Examples include:
- Group rides
- Coffee meetups
- Charity rides
- Motorcycle shows
- Track days
- Training courses
- Club meetings
- Social gatherings
Every event has its own:
- Title
- Date
- Time
- Description
- Organiser
- Meeting location
Events are time-specific and will eventually become past events.
What is a Destination?
A Destination is a permanent location that riders may wish to visit.
Examples include:
- Cafés
- Restaurants
- Scenic lookouts
- Museums
- Motorcycle-friendly businesses
- Accommodation
- Attractions
- Meeting points
Unlike events, destinations remain available for future rides and can be reused by anyone creating an event.
